SRINAGAR: Heralding a change in the separatist camp, the only brother of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) founder Maqbool Butt, has returned home from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir after 18 years. He was accompanied by his wife and four children, local news agency KNS reported.

Zahoor Ahmad Butt (37) has reportedly arrived in Kashmir after being associated with the JKLF faction headed by Amanullah Khan in Muzaffarabad and Pakistan as long as he was there.

The news agency said Zahoor was likely to head the Amanullah faction in Kashmir.

The report said it was not known which route Zahoor used to enter the Valley. He is likely to address a public meeting in Trahgam, the native village of Maqbool, on February 11, the day Maqbool was hanged in Jail in connection with a murder case.
